Development and leadership of the regional action plan for bats in Ile-de-France
The aim of the regional action plan is to establish a regional framework for the conservation of bats and includes a survey of knowledge on bats in Ile-de-France. This first work revealed that the region was home to 20 bat species, identified the actors and actions in favour of bats, identified wintering and summering roosts known to date, and mapped the distribution of observations for each species based on the collection and analysis of data collected from many actors.
We then surveyed current knowledge (transcribed in species sheets), analysed the issues and proposed objectives for the conservation of bats in the region and then proposed an action program to reach the objectives.
