Biotope Colombia is the newest subsidiary of Biotope, based in Bogotá since 2023. It offers a wide range of nature-related services, building upon three decades of Biotope’s ecological expertise. Our specialists will support stakeholders in achieving biodiversity and climate goals, providing technical assistance to overcome the main environmental challenges faced in Colombia—the second most biodiverse country in the world.
Biotope Colombia is committed to promoting sustainable economic development in the country through ecological engineering and capacity building. Supporting the country in meeting conservation and enhancement targets for its unique but fragile biodiversity is one of our main goals.

Biotope’s multiple interventions in South America span from capacity building, ecosystems conservation, sustainable management and restoration, regulatory compliance, corporate biodiversity strategies, promoting bioeconomy-related projects, and sustainable finance.
Biotope Colombia reflects the desire of Biotope to be as close as possible to Latin American actors, playing a significant role in preserving the most biodiverse area in the world. Our approach is both local, connecting with local authorities, NGOs, and civil society, as well as national and international, working alongside national entities, SMEs, corporations, and multilateral organizations across LATAM.
