Ecological survey of the development of the hot springs site at Fuzhou, Jiangsu
This survey was done for the Fuzhou municipality for the forthcoming construction of three tourist villages on a balneotherapy site, in a natural setting (wooded hills and a wide agricultural plain, made up for the most part of rice paddies).
We were commissioned by the Fuzhou municipalities to take the biodiversity into account in the development, using the cartography of the ecological corridors that already exist and must be preserved. We thus created the design for the rehabilitation of wetlands forming buffers below the villages in the place of the rice fields and we defined the ecological forestry management for the hills around the hot springs. Finally, we were able to give recommendations for the management of all the natural habitats on the site.
