Inauguration of the green belt between Beausoleil and Passay

The green belt was officially opened on Sunday at the third edition of Ruralies, with the aim of presenting agriculture and the surrounding landscapes. 250 people followed the partners along the route between Beausoleil and Passay.

A comprehensive diagnosis of the area was performed in 2015 by Biotope Pays de la Loire. It promoted the wealth of the area with its landscapes (wet grasslands, reeds, woods) and its avifauna with 62 identified species of protected birds, of which 34 wintering birds and migratory species.
